FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

World’s First Interactive Hologram Object at IFA Berlin 2018

BERLIN, Germany 08/14/2018 - Merge, the leader in AR/VR products for consumers and educators, will showcase its award-winning AR/VR Merge Cube and Goggles at IFA BERLIN August 31 - Sept. 5 in the IFA Next Hall 26 (booth 235) as it seeks to expand distribution in Europe. One of the world’s leading global technology events, IFA highlights digital lifestyle products and is expected to attract retailers, consumers and media from more than 100 countries.

Merge Cube is the world's first holographic object that allows you to hold a hologram in the palm of your hand. It merges the physical and digital worlds using augmented reality technology and offers a new platform for AR gaming, classroom learning, and creating and sharing AR content.

Merge Miniverse is a portal to virtual and augmented worlds with hundreds of curated AR/VR apps and experiences to choose from - many in French, Italian, German, Spanish for the European market, plus Chinese. Popular apps allows consumers and educators to examine fossils and ancient artifacts, hold an entire solar system, and extend mobile app experiences beyond the limitations of the phone screen. A SDK is available for software developers interested in developing apps for the Merge Cube.

“We’ve experienced strong interest in our Merge Cube and AR/VR Goggles from both consumers and educators. To meet this growing demand we’re seeking to expand our retail distribution relationships in Europe,” said Dan Worden, CRO and Executive Vice President. “In addition to retail distribution, we’re interested in exploring education channel partnerships to reach classrooms as AR and VR are transforming learning and our products are leading the way.”

Media are invited to visit Merge at the Showstoppers press event on August 30 to experience the Merge Cube and AR/VR Goggles at IFA.
